20261 - WIFI - Removing a registered wifi smartpen from the Livescribe database (selling or gifting a wifi smartpen)

How do I remove a registered wifi smartpen from the Livescribe database so someone else can register it (the smartpen was given or sold to someone else)?

A Livescribe wifi smartpen that is given to a new owner must be un-registered from our system to de-link it from the original owner's Livescribe account.  

NOTE: This will not affect the data that has already synced with the original owner's Evernote account.

If you are the owner, would like to sell or gift your wifi smartpen, and want to clear all of the data from the smartpen before selling/gifting it, to complete this clearing and de-linking process please see 20367 - WIFI - Erasing all content and de-registering wifi smartpens.
