90027 - ECHO/PULSE - Using the Livescribe Online Access List

What is the Livescribe Online Access List?

From your personal profile (90010 - How do I access Livescribe Online and my personal profile?) you can use the Livescribe Online Access List to control who has permission to access to a file when it is marked as private ("locked").

Adding someone to the Access List

You can automatically add someone to the Access List by using the "Email a Friend!" option to share the file (for more information please see 90020 - What is the Livescribe Online "Email a Friend!" option used for?)

To manually add someone to the Access List that is not in your "Address Book":

  1. Select the "Edit Access List" option.
  2. Click on "Add Contact".
  3. Enter the name and email address of the contact.
  4. Click "Save" to add the contact to the Access List.
  5. Click "Done".

As long as your new contact has a link to the file (for more information see 90022 - What is the Livescribe Online "Get a link to the File" option used for?) they will be able to log in and see the file.

To manually add someone to the Access List that is already in your "Address Book":

  1. Select the "Edit Access List" option.
  2. Check-mark the contact.
  3. Click "Done".

As long as your new contact has a link to the file (for more information see 90022 - What is the Livescribe Online "Get a link to the File" option used for?) they will be able to log in and see the file.

NOTE: You can edit the Address Book contact name or email address by using the gray pencil button to access "Edit a Contact".  If you want to remove someone from the Address Book you can use the red minus button to access "Delete a Contact".

Removing someone from the Access List

  1. Select the "Edit Access List" option.
  2. Un-checkmark the contact.
  3. Click "Done".

The contact no longer has access to the file.
