What is Livescribe's return policy and procedures for returns?

Smartpens purchased from a Third-party vendor cannot be returned to Livescribe for a refund or exchange.  Please review the third-party sales agreement for that vendor's return or exchange policy and contact them directly.

For purchases made from the Livescribe online Store, Livescribe will refund the full amount paid minus shipping on any item(s) returned within 30 days of the date of purchase.  Items returned after this timeframe will not be accepted or credited.

In your email to cs@livescribe.com, please include the invoice number from your purchase confirmation email along with a description of the reason for your return.  Once approved, we will issue a Credit Return Merchandise Authorization (CRMA) number along with return instructions.  You will be responsible for the original shipping and the return shipping fees.  Items must be returned in like new condition with all the original components and packaging.  Credits are issued once the items have been received and verified.


Can Livescribe store ship internationally?

Livescribe can only sell and ship smartpens, paper products, and accessories to addresses in the 50 U.S states. We are unable to sell and ship to U.S. territories or other countries.

What are the shipping options that you have?

Orders placed through Livescribe’s online store can be shipped only using FedEx Ground and it could take anywhere between 5-7 business days for the order to be delivered.

Is there an option to expedite shipping?

No, we do not have an option to use expedited shipping methods currently. We are working on improving our offerings and watch out for an update from us soon on this!

How much is shipping and where can my order be shipped to?

Shipping from the Livescribe online Store is free for orders over $49.   

Orders of $49 or less have a $6.95 shipping charge.

We cannot FedEx to PO Boxes since FedEx will not deliver to these addresses.  A PO Box can be used as part of a billing address when placing an order, but not as part of a shipping address.

How do I check shipping status of the order that I placed in Livescribe store?

It takes 5-7 business days to receive an order once it is made in our Online Store.

To check the status of your order, if you registered or already had a Livescribe account and logged in when you placed the order:

  1. Access http://store.livescribe.com/.
  2. Scroll down to the bottom of the window and on the blue bar under "YOUR ACCOUNT" click on "Order History".
  3. Enter your email address/password and click "Login". 

The status of your order will display under the "Order Status" column.


NOTE: If you used "Checkout as Guest" when you placed your order, you will not be able to check the status online.  In your cs@livescribe.com email, let us know the order number from the order confirmation email we sent and we will look up the status for you.

What are the authorized sellers of the Livescribe smartpen internationally?

Can Livescribe take my order over the phone?

Our agents do not take orders over the phone as the only process to take orders is through the Livescribe online Store.  You can access the http://store.livescribe.com/ page to securely order all of our products.

Does Livescribe accept Purchase Orders? If yes, how can we avoid paying sales tax if our U.S. institution has a tax-exempt status?

Corporations:

We do not accept Purchase Orders from Corporations for smaller orders (less than 10 pens). However, orders can be placed through our Online store and payment must be made by credit card. If you would like to order pens in bulk (more than 10 pens), reach out to us directly at Livescribe.sales@anoto.com for quote and order placement.

To request a credit for the taxes your school or corporation paid on the Livescribe order (online store or direct order) please email a copy of your order confirmation along with a copy of the tax exemption certificate to livescribe.customerservice@anoto.com.

Colleges, Universities, and Kindergarten-12th Grade Schools:

We do accept Purchase Orders from education organizations.  Access our Higher Education/K-12 How to Buy site for a quote and options on submitting a Purchase Order.

NOTE: You can use the Online Store as a reference, but some items available in the Store may not be available via an education Purchase Order.  To get an accurate quote, please use the Higher Education/K-12 How to Buy site for instructions and details. 

If your organization is tax exempt, please include a copy of the tax exemption certificate with your quote request.

For institutions with the correct documentation, we charge a 5% ($5.00 minimum) shipping charge based on the amount of each order.  

To request a credit for the taxes your school or corporation paid on the Livescribe order please email a copy of your order confirmation along with a copy of the tax exemption certificate to livescribe.customerservice@anoto.com.


Does Livescribe offer military discounts?

We do not have Military discounts at this time or an estimate for when a discount might be available.


How do I cancel my online Livescribe order?

Please contact us at Livescribe.CustomerService@anoto.com to let us know your Store Purchase Order number and the reason you would like to cancel your order so that we can respond to your request. 


What are the U.S. states that Livescribe is charging sales tax in?

Livescribe has a business presence and is currently charging sales tax in the following states: 

  • California
  • Connecticut
  • Massachusetts
