The Symphony does not have a power button, but uses the smartpen cap to turn the smartpen on/ off. When you take the smartpen cap off, the pen turns ON; when you put the smartpen cap back, the pen turns OFF.

Whenever the smartpen is ON, the LED indicator should light up to indicate the smartpen's status. If the LED indicator does not light up when the smartpen cap is removed, it might indicate that your smartpen needs to be charged. Charge your smartpen and try again.

Charge

Plug your smartpen into a USB power source using the included micro USB cable. It would take a minimum 2 hours to fully charge your smartpen. Your smartpen provides up to 10 hours of writing time from a full charge, and up to 45 days of standby time.

When your smartpen is plugged in to the USB power source, the LED indicator light on the smartpen will indicate its status:

  • Pulsing Green: Charging
  • Steady Green: Fully Charged

Smartpen is blinking red when connected to a charger?

Leave the smartpen plugged to the charger for the battery to be powered up. Do not remove the smartpen from charger and leave it connected for a minimum 20-40 mins. Once the battery gets charged, it should power-up the smartpen and the smartpen LED will be pulsing green indicating that it is being charged.

Smartpen enters this 'pre-charging' mode when the battery is completely drained and is left without being charged for some time. It is recommended that users charge their smartpens regularly after every use in order to avoid this situation.
