Using external speakers

Can I connect external speakers to my smartpen?

If you have a Livescribe wifi or Echo smartpen you can plug your portable speakers into the headset jack as long as the speaker plug is a 3.5mm plug.

If you have Pulse smartpen you can use a 2.5mm to 3.5mm stereo adaptor to connect your portable speakers to the Pulse headset jack.

NOTE:  Livescribe does not sell stereo adapters.  If you need one you will have to purchase an adapter from a third party vendor.
