Using non-Livescribe ink refills

Can I use any refill?

For Livescribe 3 smartpens there are various options for which ink cartridges you can use, but you CANNOT use ink cartridges designed for the wifi/Echo/Pulse smartpens as they are a different size.  For more information please see 50010 - Livescribe 3 ink cartridge compatibility.

For wifi/Echo/Pulse smartpens, only Livescribe ink cartridges can be used.  These smartpen refills were designed exclusively for the wifi/Echo/Pulse smartpens and no other manufacturer's ink cartridge will fit.
