81970 - ECHO/PULSE - Checking your version of Echo Desktop

How do I check my version of Echo Desktop?

If you need to check your version of Echo Desktop for troubleshooting purposes, you can use the steps below:

  1. Start Echo Desktop.
  2. From the top Menu select "Help > About…" (Windows) / "Echo Desktop > About Echo Desktop" (Mac) for the Version number (ignore the last 3 numbers).
  3. Check to make sure you have the latest version by accessing the Windows Current Release Notes / Mac Current Release Notes.
  4. If you don't have the latest version and aren't getting a prompt to update, you can download and install the latest version from www.livescribe.com/install.
  5. If you are getting a prompt to update but cannot do so because you are behind a proxy server, please reference 81910 - ECHO/PULSE - Manually downloading Windows Echo Desktop Installer archived Zip file or 81921 - ECHO/PULSE - Manually downloading Mac Echo Desktop Installer archived Zip file.
