83304 - LIVESCRIBE+ - Adding editable Livescribe 3 text to Word or Text Editor

How do I easily add my editable notes to Word or Text Editor?

To add your Livescribe+ notes to Word (PC or Mac) or Text Editor (Mac):

iOS

  1. Tap on the desired thumbnail to expand it to full page view.  
  2. At the top center toggle menu, tap on the "Feed" option to switch to Feed view.  
  3. Swipe from left to right on the snippet(s) to transcribe the handwriting to text.  
  4. Tap and hold on any snippet that needs editing and select "Edit", make the needed changes and then tap "Done".  
  5. Tap "Select" in the upper right corner and tap the radio button(s) next to each snippet you want added to Word/Text editor.  
  6. Tap the chevron icon ( ^ ) on the bottom icon bar (NOT the Share icon in the lower left corner) and then tap "Copy" to copy the selected snippet(s).  
  7. Open an email from Mail.
  8. Tap and hold in the body of the email and select "Paste" to paste the text.
  9. Send the email to yourself.
  10. Access your PC or Mac and copy the email text.
  11. Open Word or Text Editor and paste the text. 

Android

  1. Tap on the desired thumbnail to expand it to full page view.  
  2. At the top center, tap on the "FEED" option to switch to Feed view.  
  3. Swipe from left to right, right to left, or double-tap on the snippet(s) to transcribe the handwriting to text.  
  4. Tap on the text to bring up the keyboard, make any needed changes, and then tap the check-mark to the right of the snippet.
  5. Tap on each snippet you want to copy.  To get the Text option you must have at least two snippets selected.
  6. Tap the share icon in the upper right and then tap.  "Text" will be selected by default.  Tap "OK".
  7. Select your email app and open an email.
  8. Send the email to yourself.
  9. Access your PC or Mac and copy the email text.
  10. Open Word or Text Editor and paste the text.
