WIFI/ECHO/PULSE - Quality Compression storage rates on the smartpen and monthly Evernote upload limit based on file size

How large are the recorded audio files and notes, what are the quality compression rates that are used on my Smartpen, and how much data can I upload to Evernote using the 500MB limit?

Below is a table that outlines the quality compression rates that are used to record notes and audio on the Livescribe smartpen.  To get the greatest amount of data storage possible, we recommend you set your "Audio Compression" (WiFi Starter Notebook covers or WiFi Sticker Sheets) / "audio quality" or "audio settings" (all other notebook covers) to "LOW".

The table also outlines how many hours of recording can be uploaded per month based on Evernote's standard upload limit for the Livescribe wifi smartpen.  For information on wired (Echo and Pulse) smartpen Evernote upload limits, please see 80505 - Exporting Livescribe Desktop content to Evernote.

For additional information on Evernote account limits and how you can increase them, please see 82200 - Evernote Basic, Evernote Premium, and Livescribe wifi smartpen upload limits.

NOTE: Mono sessions are recordings that are made using the smartpen microphone.  Binaural (stereo) sessions are recordings that are made using the Premium 3-D Recording Headset.
