83303 - LIVESCRIBE+ - Auto Send notebooks to OneNote or Evernote

How do I send my notebook notes to OneNote or Evernote automatically?

You can send your notebook notes to OneNote or Evernote automatically using the "Auto Send" option.

Important: If you use your smartpen with more than one device, set up Auto-Send only on your primary device. Auto-Send is device-specific, so setting up Auto-Send on multiple devices creates duplicate entries.  For example, don't Auto-Send Journal 2 to your OneNote/Evernote account from your iPad and also Auto-Send Journal 2 to OneNote Evernote from your iPhone. This would create two OneNote/Evernote notebooks with the same content.  To avoid this type of duplication, use Auto-Send on one device per notebook.

NOTE: By default, Auto-Send sends .PNG images of note pages.  It does not send pencast audio recordings so these must be sent manually  (please see 83302 - LIVESCRIBE+ - Exporting (sharing) editable text with Evernote).  To change the default to PDF, go to "Settings > Cloud Services > OneNote/Evernote".

To set up a notebook to Auto-Send:

  1. In Livescribe+, tap and hold the notebook cover until the contextual menu appears.
  2. Tap "Share".
  3. Tap "Auto-Send".
  4. Tap "OneNote" or "Evernote" as the cloud service destination.
  5. If prompted, Sign In to and Authorize access to your account, tap "Done", and tap "OneNote"/"Evernote" once more.

To turn off Auto-Send:

  1. In Livescribe+, tap and hold the notebook cover until the contextual menu appears.
  2. Tap "Share".
  3. Tap "Auto-Send".
  4. Tap "OneNote"/"Evernote".
  5. Tap "Yes" at the prompt "Stop Auto-Sending Notebook?"

NOTE: This will not delete the notes you've already sent to OneNote/Evernote, but will stop sending any new pages written in that notebook.

Viewing your Send and Auto-Send History:

  1. If you send your content to a cloud service using the Send or Auto-Send options, you can view a history of your transactions.
  2. Tap the menu icon in the upper left corner.
  3. Tap "Settings".
  4. Tap "Cloud Services".
  5. Tap the name of your cloud service and if prompted, sign in.
  6. Tap "Sent Items" to view a list of items you sent to this service.
  7. To view an item that was successfully sent, tap it.
