85350 - LIVESCRIBE+ - Android - Sharing (exporting) notes and audio

How do I export my notes and audio from Livescribe+ on Anbroid?

You can share (export) your Android notes and audio from Livescribe+ in three different ways (if you also have an iOS device, please see 84400 - LIVESCRIBE+ - iOS - Sharing (exporting) notes and audio):

  • As multiple pages with or without audio (Livescribe PDF)
  • As individual pages with or without audio (Livescribe PDF)
  • As snippets (editable text or JPG)

To start sharing:

  1. From the Google Play Store, install the app you want to share to if it is not already installed (e.g. OneNote, Evernote, Dropbox, Box, etc.).  NOTE:  If you are sharing to the "Gmail" app, make sure your Gmail account is set up and active under the Android device's "Settings > Accounts" and while sharing notes to OneNote be advised there is a character limitation and shared pages can only contain up to 50 characters on the tap name.
  2. Run the Livescribe+ app.
  3. Pair the pen and transfer your notes (84100 - LIVESCRIBE 3 - Pairing Livescribe 3 for first time to an iOS 7 (or later) device or 85100 - LIVESCRIBE+ - Pairing Livescribe 3 for first time to an Android KitKat 4.4.2 (or later) device).

NOTICE:

  • There is an option to share an entire notebook as a PDF by long-tapping on the notebook cover in thumbnail view.  The note pages that are shared will not contain audio however.  If you want to share an entire notebook with audio, you must manually share all of the individual pages of the notebook.
  • You can only share pencasts (audio) from the PENCAST View.
  • Sharing only a single page of a multi-page pencast is not possible.
  • Snippets cannot be shared with audio.
  • Livescribe PDFs can be opened by any PDF reader app.  These files can also be imported into Livescribe+ installed on another compatible iOS 7 (or later) or Android KitKat 4.4.2 (or later) device (83350 - LIVESCRIBE+ - Importing notes and audio into Livescribe+) or played from a PC or Mac (82457 - LIVESCRIBE+ - Playing/accessing notes and audio exported from Livescribe+ using Livescribe Player).
